Everything you'll ever need to know about a visit to Boundless Outdoors
Frequently asked questions about everything from activities to accommodation and food provision to Safeguarding.
We advise all our residential groups to come have a look around and meet the team before you come. This will give you chance to look through facilities and talk to our staff about any specific questions you may have. We don’t offer site visits for parents of visiting children unless there are special requirements we need to look at regarding mobility and communication issues.
Unfortunately we are not registered to accept childcare vouchers.
At Boundless Outdoors we offer challenge by choice. We never force an individual to do something, but we will help, support and encourage so they gain the most out of each activity.
You can contact the school or the centres direct and we will endeavour to transfer the message as fast as possible.
This will depend upon your package. Please check the paperwork on your contract and if you have any more queries please call us on 01684 574546.
We have a general information pack for parents thats can be adapted for your group. Information-for-parents (link to info pack)
All our staff go through a rigorous requirement process and have to complete enhanced DBS checks and reference checks. You can rest assured we have done everything we can to make our centres as safe and friendly as possible.
With all our meals we offer a wide range of options. As long as we know in advance we can cater for any dietary requirements that come through the door. If you child requires a specific food brand or type, we request that you send it with the group for us to prepare at meal times.
All accommodation blocks are sole occupancy meaning no other group will be sharing rooms, wash facilities and communal areas. The dormitories are split into rooms of 4 to 10 beds, predominantly bunk beds. All staff have separate bedrooms with separate bathroom facilities.
Yes there is always a member of the Boundless Outdoors team on call during your stay. Please refer to your paperwork and the instructions for each centre as to how to contact them.
Everything is included in the packages however there is a small souvenir shop and tuck shop at each centre selling low value items from 50p to £5. We recommend parents do not send their child with too much money.
In general we will try and send all the lost property back with the visiting group. If we find something after the group have left we we will keep it for a undefined time. We are happy for you to come to the centre and collect any items or we can post them back to you at your cost.
